tickle me tuesday

So last night Mike and I went to Starbucks to meet with Derek who is going on the trip to Portugal with us.  It was Mike’s second time to ever go into a Starbucks, of which he is really proud.  He still has yet to order anything, another proud accomplishment of his.

We walked up to the counter and here’s how the conversation went:

Me: looking at the menu and not seeing apple cider

Barista: May I help you?

Me: yes… do yall have apple cider?

Barista: Sort of. We have a Caramel Apple Spice.

Me: What’s that?

Barista: its pressed apple juice sweetened with cinnamon syrup, whipped cream and our own buttery caramel sauce.

Me: (puzzeled look… seriously?!?) do you just have regular apple cider?

Barista: I guess we can just steam you some apple juice.

Me: I’ll have that!

and it turned out amazing! warm and perfect for a rainy evening without all the extra fluff I didn’t want or need.

Now onto something completely unrelated: Enjoy =) While this isn’t Avi, I thought I would begin preparing you for what is to come over the Christmas season! What a sweet face!
